GTA 6 Soundtrack: 34 Songs, 6 Out Now [2026 Update]

Rockstar handed us an album before it handed us the game. The GTA 6 soundtrack was announced on Thursday, September 17, and it packs 34 original songs.

However, there’s a catch: only six of them are currently available. Meanwhile, the remaining 28 will arrive on November 19, which is the same day the game launches.

So it isn’t fully “released,” whatever your feed says. It’s essentially a preview featuring an impressive lineup, and I’m perfectly fine with that. Therefore, let’s distinguish what is genuine from what is merely noise.

Table of Contents

Quick Facts: The GTA 6 Soundtrack in One Table

To get started, here’s a quick overview. Everything that follows comes from Rockstar’s official announcement and the various outlets that reported on it.

DetailWhat we know

That last row stings somewhat. Pre-order the vinyl, and you wait a full day past launch.

Wait, Is It Actually Out Yet?

Currently, six songs are streaming today; however, the remaining 28 will be available on November 19. Additionally, pre-saves are open on the major streaming apps.

If you have never used a pre-save before, it simply adds the album to your library the moment it goes live. Thus, it’s a reminder rather than a download.

Moreover, many posts refer to the album as “released.” However, that’s an exaggeration since it was only announced on September 17. Therefore, I would categorize the event as a soft launch.

The GTA 6 release date has also moved twice, so a little caution is healthy. Here’s the real timeline:

  • May 2, 2025: Rockstar pushes the game from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026.
  • November 6, 2025: A second delay moves it to November 19, 2026.
  • September 17, 2026: The album is announced, and six songs go live.
  • November 19, 2026: The game and the full album are due.
  • November 20, 2026: Physical copies are expected to ship.

The album’s date rides on the game’s date. If the game slips again, I’d bet the album slips with it. That’s my guess, not a Rockstar statement.

Confirmed Facts: What Rockstar Really Said

Everything in this section traces back to Rockstar’s official announcement or outlets quoting it. No leaks here.

Initially, a few days of cryptic teasers emerged. Notably, Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen both dropped hints during that week, and subsequently, Rockstar made it official.

Furthermore, the pitch is simple. Furthermore, the album is produced in collaboration with Atlantic Records and is specifically designed to capture the vibrant energy of Vice City and Leonida.
Therefore, treat that as a mood, not a promise.

Every Track on the GTA 6 Soundtrack So Far

Currently, six songs are available, complete with names, credits, and streaming links. Let’s take a look at them:

#SongArtist(s)Detail
1That’s it.Yung Lean (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)Three names on one track
2RHYNOTravis ScottProduced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk
3Sexy MagicCA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again… & Etienne de CrécyFive names on one song
4Last Thing You NeedMorgan WallenThe country entry
5Macacoa 2000Rauw AlejandroThe Latin entry
6Bright Lights, Big CityKeith RichardsFrom the Rolling Stones

RHYNO grabbed me first; moreover, a Daft Punk member producing a Travis Scott song was not on my bingo card.

Furthermore, this album is all original music. The trailers, on the other hand, leaned on older songs, such as Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” featured in Trailer 1. Consequently, it presents a different job and a different vibe.

Formats, Prices, and the Vinyl That Vanished

In addition, physical copies are now available for pre-order on the official album store. Furthermore, these prices are sourced from TechRadar’s report, presented in both US and UK currency:

EditionUS priceUK priceNotes
CD$19.98£10.99Cheapest way to own it
Vinyl$49.98£44.99Regular vinyl
Limited-edition vinyl$124.98£108.99Two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid; reportedly sold out

The fancy GTA 6 vinyl, however, vanished almost immediately after the announcement. Consequently, whether Rockstar will restock it remains unclear.

Additionally, Rockstar also lists exclusive vinyl colors at big retailers. For instance, think Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, and Barnes & Noble, plus Urban Outfitters, Blood Records, and indie shops. Everything is expected to ship on November 20.

Interestingly, reports indicate that the game itself is digital-only. Therefore, while you can shelve the music, you cannot do the same with the game. You can draw your own conclusions from that.

Furthermore, what’s still missing? Rockstar has yet to announce when the full GTA 6 tracklist will be released. However, it did promise more information regarding the game’s dynamic score and the next iteration of in-game radio.

Rumors and Leaks: Salt Required

Now, we enter the complicated territory. First and foremost, Rockstar has not confirmed anything here. Additionally, leaks come from development builds, which can change.

So, why should we even pay attention to leaks? The radio lineup is the first thing fans hunt for, and the internet hates a blank space.

The Leaked Radio Stations

In August 2026, gameplay clips leaked online, and fans caught a radio menu. One report counts 14 stations in it. Other lists name nine.

A few of the names that keep coming up:

  • Circoloco Records Radio
  • Dirty South Classics
  • Honey FM
  • Back Country Radio
  • Stockyard FM
  • Symphony FM
  • V-Rock

Rockstar hasn’t confirmed any of them. So every list of GTA 6 radio stations floating around right now is just a guess in a nice outfit.

Songs people say they heard in those clips:

  • “Sports Car” by Tate McRae
  • “Impact” by SG Lewis, Robyn, and Channel Tres
  • “For What It’s Worth” by Stevie Nicks
  • Sibelius’s Fifth Symphony, reportedly on Symphony FM

All unconfirmed. Notice anything? Those are existing songs, the kind a radio station plays.

Why Leaked Songs Probably Won’t Land on the GTA 6 Soundtrack

The album is 34 original songs made for the project. The radio dial will likely carry a much bigger pile of licensed tracks that never touch the record. Outlets like Vice and Esquire India made the same point.

So “Sports Car” can play in your stolen coupe and still be missing from the album. That’s my read, and I’m fairly confident.

You may also spot posts claiming a complete tracklist. Ignore them until Rockstar posts the real one. Unverified lists have been circulating since the announcement.

Quick tell: a real list comes from Rockstar’s own channels. A fake one comes from a screenshot with no source and a suspicious number of songs.

Why GTA Music Was Never Background Noise

When you ask any fan about 2002’s Vice City, the radio inevitably comes up within about ten seconds. Notably, the game was set in the 1980s, and consequently, its stations reflected that era. Thus, the music really became part of the setting.
.

I’ve always believed, in fact, that the best GTA moments are, surprisingly, the pointless ones.
You’re driving nowhere, a song hits, and the whole city suddenly feels alive.

That’s why an album feels different here. To me, an album before launch says the music is a headline feature. It sits right next to the map and the story.

Does an all-original album fit that idea? Maybe. The old games sold nostalgia, but this one seems to sell a new sound for a modern Vice City.

My Take on the GTA 6 Soundtrack Lineup, Judged on Paper

This lineup is undeniably chaotic, and I believe that’s precisely the point. It features hip-hop, country, dance, Latin music, and even a Rolling Stone all on one record. In essence, it’s like a GTA radio dial condensed into an album.

However, I must offer one warning first. I am judging names and credits here, not the actual sound of the songs. Therefore, think of this review as a preview impression.

Song by Song, Credits Only

I’m not rating sound here. I’m reading the credits like a menu.

  • That’s It: Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin. Odd trio on paper, and odd is just fine.
  • RHYNO: Travis Scott with a Daft Punk producer. The credit alone sells it.
  • Sexy Magic: Five names, several styles. It could be a mess. It could be the highlight.
  • Last Thing You Need: Morgan Wallen covers the country lane. Leonida has back roads too.
  • Macacoa 2000: Rauw Alejandro keeps the Latin side of the mix alive.
  • Bright Lights, Big City: Keith Richards. No notes yet, only questions.

What I Like

  • The chaos. Yung Lean, Morgan Wallen, and Rauw Alejandro on one record shouldn’t work. GTA radio never played it safe either.
  • The Daft Punk link. A member of the duo producing RHYNO is a headline all by itself.
  • The five-name collab. “Sexy Magic” carries five names. That’s either genius or a traffic jam.
  • Keith Richards. Honestly? I’m just curious. Very curious.
  • The drip-feed. Six songs first give us two months of guessing. Rockstar knows exactly what it’s doing.

Things That Worry Me

  • Only six songs are public. The hype currently rests on about 18% of the album.
  • The prices. Regular vinyl at $49.98 isn’t pocket change, and the fancy edition is already gone.
  • Original songs versus known songs. Half the joy of any GTA is a radio full of tracks, you know. New songs have to work harder to earn that feeling.

What I Want From the Other 28

This album is a wish list, not a leak. Give me one long, weird track that only makes sense at 3 a.m., plus a real Latin and Caribbean showing. And please, one song I can yell along to with the windows down.

How to Hear the GTA 6 Soundtrack on Launch Day

Want the smoothest path? It’s short.

  1. Pre-save the album on your streaming app. Rockstar says pre-saves are open on all major services.
  2. Play the six singles now. They’re already live.
  3. Pick vinyl or CD. All editions are expected to ship November 20, one day after launch.
  4. Watch Rockstar’s Newswire for the full tracklist and radio news.

Circle the date. The GTA 6 release date is Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The full album should go live that same day.

Vinyl Buyers, Read This First

  • Timing: Shipping is set for November 20, so nothing lands on launch day.
  • Prices: The numbers above come from a TechRadar report. Check the official store for your region and shipping costs.
  • Limited edition: It has reportedly sold out, so don’t plan on getting one.
  • Retail colors: Exclusive versions differ by store. Check which one you’re buying before you pay.

Verdict: Is the GTA 6 Soundtrack Worth the Hype?

On paper? Mostly yes. Here’s my scorecard, based on the announcement and credits only.

CategoryScoreWhy
Star power9/10Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, PinkPantheress, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards
Genre range9/10Hip-hop, country, dance, Latin, rock

Overall (on paper)7/10Strong lineup, thin details

That score covers the pitch, not the audio. I’ll update this post once the full album is out.

What would change my score? A full tracklist with real surprises lifts transparency. Great audio lifts everything, and a miss on the sound drags it down.

Who’s it for? If you play GTA for the radio, the game is your warm-up. If missions are all you care about, you can skip it and lose nothing.

As a pitch for a GTA 6 album, it’s confident and a little wild. I’d pre-save today, hold off on vinyl, and let Rockstar earn the rest.

Quick Answers Before You Go

Is the full album out yet? No. Six songs are streaming, and all 34 arrive November 19.

How many songs are on it? Rockstar says 34 original tracks.

Where can I stream the six singles? According to Rockstar, the six singles are available on all major streaming services.

Do I need a console to hear it? No. It’s a normal album on streaming services, CD, and vinyl.

Will the game have radio too? Rockstar has teased in-game radio, but no stations are confirmed.

Are the leaked radio songs on it? Probably not. The album is original music, and none of the leaked tracks are confirmed.

Final Word

The GTA 6 soundtrack is real, stacked, and less than a fifth out. Six songs to play, 28 to wait for, and one date to circle: November 19.

Until then, ignore the fake tracklists and enjoy the drip-feed. I’ll be the one refreshing Rockstar’s site at 2 a.m.
